Hyatt House

The brand team at Hyatt House had a brilliant idea: to announce Hyatt House’s new “dog friendly” positioning, they would sponsor the adorable Rescue Dog Rescue segment on Late Night With Stephen Colbert, and launch a national spot during the commercial break.

There was only one problem: A last minute, 180 change of direction towards a broader awareness message. Oh, and there wasn’t budget for a shoot, so we’d have to use old, recut footage. Also, there was less than a month to put it together, or we’d lose the media buy.

Okay, so, several problems.

Fortunately, I was able to help sift through footage, write up a script, and produce a video that not only delivered on time, but debuted a new brand tagline, and got a shoutout from AdAge.
